Pyrce Park was acquired from the City of Berwyn in 1979. Various minor improvements were made at the park until 1992, at which time a master plan to redevelop the facility was initiated. In 2003 the old wading pool was replaced with a new Spray Pool. Renovations were also made to the playground equipment. Components contained within the 2 acre facility include a spray pool, two age-specific modular play units, a swing set, benches, shade trees, ornamental trees, flowering shrubs, and garden areas. The park received its name in July 1996 in recognition of Leona Pyrce, one of the founders of the agency.
