Between Grove and Maple north of Cermak Avenue

Berwyn Gardens is an award-winning park that was developed in 1997 as a six parcel linear outdoor recreational area. Components include game tables, a gazebo and shelter, two age-specific modular play sets, garden areas, benches, shade trees, ornamental trees, flowering shrubs, and rolling berms. The park was constructed on the old vacin fairway, which was donated by the City of Berwyn.

In January 1998, commissioners and staff received an award from the Illinois Association of Park Districts for Berwyn Gardens being the outstanding facility constructed during 1997. The park received its name in recognition of the beautiful gardens that are representative of the residential units throughout the community.
